Dave Ward
With fifty years experience in the electrical industry, Dave is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of ABC-Electrical.
As Chief Executive Officer, Dave has an extensive background that began when he was an electrician in the field through his experiences as owner of ABC-Electrical. Dave has in-depth knowledge of construction projects including design/build, new construction, additions and renovations.
Dave is responsible for overseeing the operation of ABC-Electrical, including finding new business opportunities, overseeing project management and estimation process. His responsibilities also include recommending cost-effective solutions to ABC-Electrical industrial, commercial, educational and institutional customers.
Jeff Burns
Jeff serves as Vice President of the Industrial Division. Jeff has been in the electrical industry for over 20 years. His background consists of project management of large commercial and industrial settings, design/build; new construction; and renovation, experience in task management, and identifying possible cost-saving solutions. He is currently working on various wireless communication projects all over the United States and has completed numerous sport field lighting projects for one of the leading sports field lighting manufacturers in the industry. Jeff also has experience in overhead line construction and underground utility installations, along with many phases of the electrical industry.
Mike Burns
Mike serves as Vice President of the commercial division holding a contractors and masters license, With over 30 years experience ranging from voice /data cabling, inside commercial installations to underground and overhead line construction. Also as project manager/estimator for all phases of the electrical industry Mike can assist you in partnering, design build, new construction, facility modernization and renovations.
Leroy Clair
Leroy has 15 years experience in the electrical industry. Leroy has worked primarily in large commercial and industrial settings, but has worked in all phases of the electrical construction industry.
Leroy serves as Project Manager / Estimator for medium to large scale commercial, educational, industrial and institutional projects. Leroy maintains contact with contracting parties and owners, establishes the project schedule, coordinates material, equipment and tools and manages field labor. Leroy is accountable for achieving performance goals to which ABC–Electrical Contractors is committed.
Dennis Johnson
Dennis has in the electrical industry for more than 30 years. Dennis and his successful company merged with ABC back in 2001. The projects that Dennis has completed range from sports complex's, financial institutes, to historic buildings around Des Moines. Dennis's now serves as a project manager/estimator for all phases of the electrical construction that included partnering, design/build, new construction, facility modernization and renovation.
Howard Spencer
Howard is responsible for overseeing ABC-Electrical's Communications Division. Howard has 14 years experience in the design and management of structured cabling systems. Howard's deals with customers on a nationwide level, his customers range from the top Fortune 500 corporations to local Iowa based businesses. He designs fiber optic and copper information systems for industrial, commercial, educational and institutional customers. Additionally, Howard interprets specifications and drawings, outlines project materials, determines manpower requirements, estimates costs. establishes the project schedule and coordinates material and equipment.
Brian Carnine
Brian has 11 years of experience in the installation and management of structured cabling systems. He is responsible for task planning, resource management, communication of project progress and database test results, budget management, manpower scheduling and the identification of possible cost-savings solutions to our customers. Additionally, Brian is responsible for inventory, receiving, and estimating among other tasks. Brian is accountable for achieving performance goals to which our organization is committed.
Jeff Robinson
Jeff has 12 years of communication experience. He is responsible for designing fiber optic and copper information systems for industrial, commercial, educational and institutional customers. Jeff achieved RCDD certification. Additionally, he interprets specifications and drawings, outlines project materials, determines manpower requirements, estimates costs.
Tom Temple
Tom joined ABC-Electrical Contractors in 2003 as a purchasing agent. Tom has been in the electrical industry for 24 years. His experience range from sales, distribution, material procurement, to management. Tom now serves as purchasing and service manager for the electrical division. He also maintains the service schedule and dispatches all commercial service work.
Doug Winger
Doug in responsible for overseeing the Residential division. He has over 16 years experience in the electrical industry. His background consists of apartment complex's, town homes, and multi-tenet installations. Doug works with homeowners and builders from the design and estimating stage to final completion to ensure all projects are installed in a quality and time efficient manner.
Maria Baker
Maria serves as the Chief Financial Officer for ABC-Electrical Contractors. Maria has over 14 years experience in the electrical and construction industry. She oversees the day to day operations of the company and is responsible for maintaining the financials, preparing and monitoring budgets, and reviewing job cost and projections with each the project managers.
